The New You

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 )

“… to be made new in the attitude of your mind.” (Ephesians 4:23 ) [NIV]

  • Conform: external; to try to fit into a mold.
  • Transform: internal; to change the nature and character of  something; to make something completely new.
  • Confess: to agree with and say the same thing God says.
  • Repent: to change the way you think.

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12 )
