Lukewarm Christians
Revelation 3:15-18 NKJV
15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me, gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
A genuine reliable and steady walk with Him
He wants His followers to enjoy a deep fellowship with Him and serve Him
With sincere and joyful heart. Another words have a real relationship with Him.
He’s not calling them nominal. He’s calling them condemned.
What would Jesus call you today? If you call yourself a “Christian”, this is a serious question.
When we are tested the Trials will show that our faith is genuine.
Testing will come but… Don’t be afraid you are being approved by the test of fire, so stand firm in the Lord.
1 Peter 1:7 NLT
The Laodiceans boasted about their wealth
Our faith is far more precious than mere gold. People that don’t have any “gold” may not understand the term “mere gold” it makes gold sound like it’s worthless….
James 4:4 HCSB
Ask yourself this question, I am I God’s friend or Foe?
If you have only the love for worldly pleasures on your mind… you will not hear the Lord’s voice when He calls you.
Will I hear
Will I hear well done, good and faithful servant?
It is our desire for all of our people to become more like Jesus.
We are to strive for the crown of righteousness.
2 Timothy 4:8 NKJV – Romans 12:1-2 NKJV – Luke 6:43 NKJV
So, when considering where you stand with the Lord,
Look at the kind of fruit that is being produced in your life. Ask yourself this
“Do I Completely trust in Christ’s death and resurrection as sufficient
payment for the debt I owe God.”

A Christian should look more and more like our Savior.
It is good to “examine ourselves to see if we resemble our Lord Jesus Christ.
The “race,” is the Christians life. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and we are called to stay the course and remain faithful to the end. Some people have found this race too difficult and have quit the race.
