1 Pedro 3:1-7
“1 Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they see your respectful and pure conduct.” ( 1 Peter 3:1-2)
“1 Asimismo ustedes, mujeres, estén sujetas a sus maridos, de modo que si algunos de ellos son desobedientes a la palabra, puedan ser ganados sin palabra alguna por la conducta de sus mujeres 2 al observar ellos su conducta casta y respetuosa” (1 Pedro 3:1-2)

“Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution.” (1 Peter 2:13)

“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.” (1 Peter 2:21)

The submission of which Peter speaks is not adherence to a principle, but recognition of the person who compels us to submit in order to live lives of godly obedience.
La sumisión de la que habla Pedro no es la adhesión a un principio, sino el reconocimiento de la persona que nos obliga a someternos para vivir una vida de obediencia piadosa.

“3 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— 4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” (1 Peter 3:3-4)
“3 Que el adorno de ustedes no sea el externo: peinados ostentosos, joyas de oro o vestidos lujosos, 4 sino que sea lo que procede de lo íntimo del corazón, con el adorno incorruptible de un espíritu tierno y sereno, lo cual es precioso delante de Dios.” (1 Pedro 3:3-4)

“But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” (1 Peter 3:4)
“Su belleza debe venir del corazón, del interior de su ser, porque la belleza que no se echa a perder es la de un espíritu suave y tranquilo, valioso ante los ojos de Dios.” (1 Pedro 3:3-4)

“5 For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.” (1 Peter 3:5-6)
“5 Porque así también se adornaban en otro tiempo las santas mujeres que esperaban en Dios, estando sujetas a sus maridos. 6 Así obedeció Sara a Abraham, llamándolo señor, y ustedes han llegado a ser hijas de ella, si hacen el bien y no tienen miedo de nada que pueda aterrorizarlas.” (1 Pedro 3:3-4)

“Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.” (1 Peter 3:7)
“Ustedes, maridos, igualmente, convivan de manera comprensiva con sus mujeres, como con un vaso más frágil, puesto que es mujer, dándole honor por ser heredera como ustedes de la gracia de la vida, para que sus oraciones no sean estorbadas.” (1 Pedro 3:7)
