The Gift of Love

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

“He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

All of God’s gifts are wrapped-up in Jesus.

“… with his love. His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by
sending Jesus Christ to die for us. And he did this because he wanted to!” (Ephesians 1:4-5) [TLB]

Jew or a Greek, a slave or a free person, a man or a woman.” (Galatians 3:28) [CEV]

“… God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for
you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.” (1 Peter 1:4) [TLB]

“It makes no difference who you are or where you’re from—if you want God and are ready to do as he says, the door is open!” (Acts 10:35) [MSG]

“And I pray that you, firmly fixed in love yourselves, may be able to grasp (with all Christians) how wide and deep and long and high is the love of Christ—and to know for yourselves that love so far beyond our comprehension. May you be filled though all your being with God himself!” (Ephesians 3:18-19) [Ph]
