“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or his stature, because I have rejected him. Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 )

“The pure in heart are blessed, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8 )

Integrity: authenticity, wholeness

3 Blessings As A Result of Living With Integrity:

  1. Personal stability.  (Proverbs 11:3 )
  2. An unfading (Proverbs 20:7 )
  3. Rewards.  (Psalm 15:1-5 )

 Ways To Develop Personal Integrity:

  • Honor your promises.

“The man who boasts about a gift that does not exist is like clouds and wind without rain.” (Proverbs 25:14 )

  • Pay what you owe.

“The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers.” (Psalm 37:21 ) [NLT]

  • Refuse to gossip.

“A gossip goes around revealing a secret, but a trustworthy person keeps a confidence.” (Proverbs 11:13 )

  • Faithfully give to the Lord.

“ 8 Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me!” You ask: “How do we rob You?” “By not making the payments of the tenth and the contributions. 9 You are suffering under a curse, yet you—the whole nation—are still robbing Me. 10 Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this way,” says the Lord of Hosts. “See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure.” (Malachi 3:8-10 )

  • Do your best at whatever you do.

“Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men …” (Colossians 3:23 )

  • Refuse to be pretentious with others.

“Instead, we have renounced shameful secret things, not walking in deceit or distorting God’s message, but commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in God’s sight by an open display of the truth.” (2 Corinthians 4:2 )
