Psalm 37:23-24

Pong

In November of 1972 the world received Pong ©. Never again would we need to own an actual ping pong table, nor would we need the skill to hit a ping pong ball. Thanks to Atari, all we needed now was a quarter.

But that wasn’t the most important harvest in November of ‘72 – at least not as far as I was concerned. Because I was born that very same month!

Even though I did nothing to earn it or deserve it, God gave me a life, and a body, and a future filled with the plans He had for me.

He did the same for you. And it was no accident. God made you for His glory. (Isaiah 43:7) He made you to be a part of His family. (Ephesians 1:5) He placed you exactly where He needed you to be on exactly that day for a purpose that only you could complete.

And our harvest is just beginning. He delights in every detail of our lives. (Psalm 37:23) No matter what life looks like today, the future is bright. He has plans for us that no eye has seen, and no mind has imagined. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
