Jesus: “ 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever.  17 He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive Him because it doesn’t see Him or know Him. But you do know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you.” (John 14:16-17

The Holy Spirit wants to be your ‘daily guide’ by ...

  1. showing you what you need to know.

“When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come.”  (John 16:13 )

  1. guiding you where you need to go.

“Guided by the Spirit, he entered the temple complex. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform for Him what was customary under the law ...”  (Luke 2:27 )

  1. leading you to say the right thing.

19 But when they hand you over, don’t worry about how or what you should speak. For you will be given what to say at that hour, 20 because you are not speaking, but the Spirit of your Father is speaking through you.”   (Matthew 10:19-20

  1. reminding you to wait on God’s perfect timing.

“ For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.”  (Galatians 5:5 )

  1. standing up to things you normally can’t resist on your own.

17 For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want.  18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” (Galatians 5:17-18

  1. helping you avoid danger and mistakes.

“I will praise the Lord who counsels me—even at night my conscience instructs me.” (Psalm 16:7 )
