“The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” (Luke 17:5 )

“Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 )

“Then He touched their eyes, saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith!” (Matthew 9:29 )

6 Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him,  7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith,  just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude.” (Colossians 2:6-7 )

God grows your faith through ...

  1. ... familiarizing yourself with God’s Word.

“So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through  the message about Christ.”  (Romans 10:17 )

  1. ... circumstances that test

“... knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.”  (James 1:3 )

God tests AND grows your faith through ...

  • ... dreams.

“Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us …” (Ephesians 3:20 )

To grow in faith, I must dream BIG!

  • ... delays.

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, since it will certainly come and not be late.”  (Habakkuk 2:3 )

To grow in faith, I must learn to wait patiently.

  • ... dollars.

“Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over—will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38 )

To grow in faith, I must learn to give in faith.

  • ... difficulties.

“Dear friends, don’t be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you as if something unusual were happening to you.” (1 Peter 4:12 )

To grow in faith, I must learn to trust God always.
