Miguel and his family came to SVCC in August of 2008. He joined the Worship Team in 2009 and appointed a Deacon in 2015. As Deacon, he oversaw IT for SVCC (and still helps out). Miguel accepted the position of Worship Minister in July 2021. 

Although Miguel was raised Catholic, he became a Christ follower in 2000. 

Miguel has been a musician all of his life and can be seen playing with various groups around the El Paso and Las Cruces areas.
